Long way home at Christina’s World

Here We are, the two models for the true version of “Christina’s World” by Andrew Wyeth.

Do you know that Christina, the subject of this painting, suffered from polio in real life? She couldn’t walk, that is why she looks to her house as to some unachievable dream.

So We decided to help her go there. At this moment We were caught by Andrew Wyeth:

Then the great master created another version, with Christina alone, to emphasize her strong character and will. You can find this version at MoMA collection:

But may be she was so strong because she was supported by her cat? Even the strongest humans sometimes need Our purrs and Our soft warm and mighty back to bring them away from sad reality and give them new forces to struggle with it.

Thus speaks Zarathustra the Cat

BUY THIS ARTWORK as a CANVAS PRINT or as a POSTER

P.S. This true version of the painting was for the first time revealed in Our book: Fat Cat Art: Famous Masterpieces Improved by a Ginger Cat with Attitude

There are more other important discoveries to be found there!

Do you and your cat and art loving friends have it already?
